The rooms at The Merchant in Galle are fantastic! Each room has everything you need for a comfortable stay, like air conditioning, a seating area, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The private bathrooms are clean and come with free toiletries and a hairdryer. I loved having a balcony in the double room, and the garden view was so relaxing. As a family, we felt right at home in these cozy, well-equipped rooms.

The only thing I didn't love was the bidet in the bathroom. It's just a personal preference, and I know some people might find it useful.

Wow - Merchant was awesome! Super clean, and right in the heart of the old fort. We could walk everywhere! The staff were fantastic - especially Shakila and Amjed Ameen. They gave great local tips! And the breakfast served to us was a real treat.

Staying here was an unforgettable experience. The hotel was luxurious and had exclusive amenities that made me feel special. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to fulfill my needs. The garden area was a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. In-room breakfast was a delight and the restaurant was first-class. Live entertainment was also a highlight of my stay.

The only negative aspect was the lack of beach access, but the hotel made up for it with their foot massages that were the perfect ending to a long day of exploring. this hotel was the perfect getaway that exceeded my expectations.
